The movie's last hour or so squanders these rich narrative possibilities in an incoherently plotted, generically action-packed anticlimax.. Complex, unexpected and dazzling, alternating relentless tension with resonant emotional moments, this is an exemplary espionage thriller that has a strong sense of what it wants to accomplish and how best to get there.. A cute little romantic comedy buried under enough overblown action, gaudy firepower and special effects to fill a Jerry Bruckheimer picture...
